Electrical compliance paperwork in Queensland

Queensland sparkies issue a Certificate of Testing and Compliance (CoTC) after installation or equipment testing. Registered cablers also give customers ACMA cabling advice on telecommunications jobs. WorkSafe Queensland sets the rules for electrical certificates in QLD.

Certificate of Testing and Compliance (CoTC)
Electrical contractors and licensed electricians complete the CoTC after testing installation work or electrical equipment. Hand the completed PDF to your customer and keep a copy for your records. Tradie Forms does not lodge this certificate with WorkSafe Queensland.
ACMA TCA1 Attach A (customer cabling advice)
ACMA-registered cablers and sparkies give the customer written cabling advice when telecommunications work is finished. Hand a copy to the customer and your employer if applicable. Tradie Forms does not lodge the form with the ACMA.
ACMA TCA2 (outstanding cabling matters)
Use TCA2 when you find non-compliant pre-existing cabling and need to alert the customer or building manager. Give a copy to the customer or building manager and keep one for your records. Tradie Forms does not lodge the form with the ACMA.
