Tradie paperwork wasstealing the afternoon
PDFs on your phone. Details retyped every job. Certs bounced for blank fields. We built Tradie Forms to fix that.
Pick the form, fill it in on the job, download the PDF, and find it again when someone asks weeks later.

Every tradie knows this job
You finish the work, pack up the van, and realise the compliance form is still sitting in your inbox as a PDF. That was the moment we kept seeing.
Squinting at a PDF on your phone
Pinch, zoom, hunt for the field buried two pages over. One thumb, bright sun, and a layout that was never meant for a small screen.
Typing the same licence number again
Business name, licence, ABN, site address. Third job this week. Same details. Still entering them from memory or old photos.
The cert comes back
Builder or inspector flags a blank field. You are already on the next job. What should have taken ten minutes becomes a desk job tonight.
It started with ccew.com.au
We built ccew.com.au to help NSW electricians finish their Certificate of Compliance for Electrical Work on site, not back at the desk.
Sparkies used it to fill the official layout on a phone, catch gaps before download, and complete clean PDFs on site. It worked because it matched how electricians actually close out a job.
When Building Commission NSW moved CCEW lodgement to the eCert online portal, that chapter ended. Most other trade paperwork across Australia is still a flat PDF.
Tradie Forms takes that same approach to the rest of the trades, while regulators digitise one form at a time.

That is why Tradie Forms exists
One place for Australian tradies to get the form done, on the phone in the van or the laptop back at the office, with anything missing flagged before the PDF comes out. Compliance certificates today, with safety forms, service reports, checklists, daily job records, and your own company forms joining them.
“Tradies should finish forms at the switchboard, not fight a flat PDF in the carpark.”
We map each form once, whether it is an official PDF or your own company paperwork. After that every tradie gets it one section at a time, with their usual details already in, anything missing flagged, and a proper PDF at the end. Regulators may digitise lodgement one form at a time. The SWMS, checklists, and job records that fill the rest of the week are ours to fix.
I grew up around the tools
I'm from a tradie family. Ute in the driveway, quote on the kitchen bench, and the paperwork that followed every job home. The work would be done, and someone was still at the table retyping a licence number into a form that asked for it three times.
I took the office path into strategy, finance, and software. Other industries had tools built for the person doing the work. My family got a clunky PDF to fill on a phone, take it or leave it. So I built ccew.com.au for NSW sparkies, then Tradie Forms for the rest of the trades: map each PDF once, fill it on site, and download before you leave.
“Nobody gets a licence because they love forms. We design for the person filling it in at the job.”
What we built instead
Not another PDF editor. A faster way through compliance and job paperwork, without fighting the layout.
Get the form done in minutes
Pick the form, fill it in while the job is fresh, check the layout, and download a PDF ready to send, save, or hand over.
One section at a time on the official layout
Each field sits where the regulator PDF expects it. No guessing which box is which.
Gaps flagged before you download
The blank field turns up while you are still there, not when someone sends the form back.
Details that carry job to job
Save licence, business, and site details once. Stop retyping the same block every afternoon.
Job details from your system
Pull job and contact details from ServiceM8, Fergus, and Xero into supported fields.
For tradies on the tools
Solo operators and small crews across Australia who want the form done before they leave, not back at the kitchen table.
If the form has to be done before you pack up, Tradie Forms keeps it simple. One section at a time, your usual details already in, and a clean PDF on the official layout.
From the switchboard to the office inbox.
