The NSW Certificate of Compliance for Electrical Work (CCEW) records that electrical installation work meets applicable standards. Building Commission NSW publishes the official PDF template.
- Who has to complete the NSW CCEW?
- Licensed NSW electricians, electrical contractors, and supervisors who carry out or oversee the installation work and testing.
- When is it required?
- When you complete electrical installation work in NSW that needs a certificate of compliance before the customer or network receives the work.
- Where does the completed form go?
- Give a copy to the customer and keep a copy with the job record. Lodgement with Building Commission NSW and the network operator is your responsibility. Tradie Forms does not lodge the certificate for you.
- Can I fill it on my phone?
- You can still open and review saved drafts on mobile, but PDF export is no longer available for this retired form.
- Can I still download a PDF?
