Tester fields in an existing draft from the retired Tradie Forms NSW CCEW

Who performed the safety tests. If that is you and you were also the installer, use Same as installer only when you genuinely did both roles on this job.

The Tradie Forms CCEW is retired and direct eCert lodgement is not supported. Use these labels only to understand an existing draft, then complete the current CCEW in the BCNSW portal.

Same as installer copies installer contact, licence, and address. Check everything still matches before using it in eCert.

NSW licence search

Same as the installer section. On a signed-in draft, Search on the licence area can query the NSW trades licence register.

  1. Open Tester
  2. Tap Search
  3. Enter licence number or name and pick a result
  4. Confirm details match the tester on site

If search fails, enter licence details manually. Always verify before eCert submission.

Tester contact information

Required fields

First Name and Last Name

Optional fields

Email, Mobile Number, and Office Number

  • First Name: Tester's first name (required)
  • Last Name: Tester's last name (required)
  • Email: Email address
  • Mobile Number: Mobile phone
  • Office Number: Office phone

Tester licence

Required fields

At least Contractor's Licence No. or Qualified Supervisor's No., with the matching expiry

Optional fields

The second licence set when it also applies

  • Contractor's Licence No.: Tester's contractor licence number
  • Licence Expiry: Expiry date on the licence card
  • Qualified Supervisor's No.: If applicable
  • Supervisor's Licence Expiry: Supervisor expiry if applicable

Tester address

Required fields

Either Street Number or Lot/RMB, Street Name, Suburb, State, and Post Code

Optional fields

Floor, Unit, and Nearest Cross Street

Address fields

Same format as the installer address: full street name, correct postcode, lot/RMB when there is no street number.

Installation and testing carry different responsibilities. Only use same as installer when one person actually did both on site.

The person who performed the safety and compliance tests must submit the CCEW as soon as possible and no later than seven days after completing them.
