Certification
Certification fields in an existing draft from the retired Tradie Forms NSW CCEW
This page explains the certification fields in an existing Tradie Forms draft. Complete the current declaration and submission in BCNSW eCert only after you have checked every section.
Legacy serial field
Existing Tradie Forms drafts may contain a Serial Number field and an old sequence helper. Keep the saved value only as historical draft information.
- Do not assume a licence-number sequence is the current eCert rule
- Follow the current eCert prompts for the submission reference
- Save the eCert confirmation or reference with the job record
Compliance declaration
Checking the box means you stand behind the whole cert: work, tests, and details.
Declaration checks
Accuracy
Check that the information on the CCEW is true, correct, and complete to the best of your knowledge.
Standards
Check the official declaration text and confirm it matches the work you are certifying.
Your responsibilities
Pre-declaration review
Before checking the compliance box, verify:
- Technical information matches the job
- Testing details match your site records
- Work details match the official declaration
- Required supporting information is complete
Make the declaration
Only make the declaration in eCert when you are confident the work and documentation are ready to submit.
Final verification
Review the completed eCert, submit it, then save its confirmation or reference with the job.
