NSW CCEW eCert

Tradie Forms does not currently support NSW CCEW eCert lodgement

Tradie Forms does not currently support creating or lodging the new NSW CCEW eCert.

Do not look for an eCert form or lodge button in Tradie Forms. Complete and submit the current CCEW directly in the BCNSW eCert portal.

Current submission channelBCNSW eCert portal

From 1 July 2026, Building Commission NSW requires every CCEW to be submitted through eCert. Handwritten and PDF CCEWs are no longer accepted.

There is no confirmed release or availability date for Tradie Forms support.

Complete a current CCEW

  1. Open the BCNSW eCert portal
  2. Sign in using the method required by Building Commission NSW
  3. Enter the current site, customer, work, licence and test details
  4. Review the declaration and submit in the portal
  5. Save the BCNSW reference with the job

The person who performed the safety and compliance tests must submit the CCEW as soon as possible and no later than seven days after completing the tests.

Existing Tradie Forms drafts

Existing drafts from the retired Tradie Forms CCEW may remain available as a historical job reference. They cannot be downloaded as a valid CCEW or lodged through Tradie Forms.

Legacy draft labels may differ from the current eCert. Use the BCNSW portal as the source of truth and enter the current information there.
