Fergus

Connect with Fergus, import job details, and attach completed PDFs

Fergus lets you bring job and site details into supported Tradie Forms fields without retyping them on site.

Requirements

  • Paid plan
  • Fergus account
  • A supported template and field

Connect Fergus

Open Fergus in Connections

In Tradie Forms, open Connections and choose Fergus.

Sign in to Fergus

Select Connect with Fergus and complete the Fergus login when prompted.

Approve access

Approve access so Tradie Forms can import job details into supported fields.

Disconnect in Connections anytime to revoke access.

On a team workspace, only a team admin can connect Fergus for the crew.

Import into a form

Per-field import

Open a supported form

Start the form while signed in on a paid plan.

Pick the Fergus job

Select the link icon beside a supported field, then search for the Fergus job.

Import and check the value

Choose the field value to import, then check it before download.

Import a whole job at once

A bar appears at the top of supported forms, where you map fields once and reuse that mapping on every later job.

Pick a sample job

Open a supported form and select Set up mapping in the bar at the top. Choose a sample job so you can see real Fergus values while you map.

Map the fields

In the mapping panel, match each form field to the correct Fergus value. Every supported field on the form is listed in one place.

Save and reuse the mapping

Select Save mapping. On later forms of the same type, pick a job in the bar and select Import job to fill every mapped field at once.

The link icon stays on every supported field, so you can still pull in a single value at any time.

Reconnect Fergus

Disconnect Fergus in Connections, then Connect with Fergus again.

API token (advanced)

If you cannot connect with Fergus for your setup, you can use an API token instead.

Generate a Fergus token

In Fergus, open Settings -> Integration Centre -> Fergus API -> Generate new token.

Connect with the token

Copy the token. In Tradie Forms, choose Use an API token, paste the token, and connect.

If the Fergus user who created the token leaves your company, disconnect and reconnect with a new token or connect with Fergus.

Attach PDFs to Fergus jobs

Turn on Upload PDFs to Fergus jobs on the Fergus integration page in Connections.

You can attach PDFs in two ways:

  • From the Your PDF is ready sheet after download, when you imported at least one Fergus field during that session
  • From Completed, using Send to Fergus

If a stored PDF is available (Solo stored copies or Team audit trail), the stored copy can be used. Otherwise Tradie Forms regenerates the PDF from saved form data.

Finished PDFs land in Files & Photos on the Fergus job.
