Meter fields in an existing draft from the retired Tradie Forms NSW CCEW
Meter installs, removals, and load figures for the network. The legacy Tradie Forms draft accepts up to 8 meters .
The Tradie Forms CCEW is retired and direct eCert lodgement is not supported. Use these fields only to understand an existing draft, then complete the current CCEW in the BCNSW portal.
When replacing meters, add both the old meter (status: "Removed") and new meter (status: "Installed") to maintain complete installation records.
Click Add Meter for each meter on the job (up to 8).
For each meter, select the appropriate status:
Installed: New meters added during the work
Removed: Existing meters removed during the work
Existing: Meters already present and unchanged
Use the "Remove" button in the top-right corner of any meter card to delete unwanted entries.
For each meter entry, provide the following information:
Identification
Meter Number: Physical meter serial number
Register Number: Specific register identification
No. of Dials: Total number of reading dials
Configuration
Master/Sub Status: M (Master), S (Sub), or N (None)
Wired as Master/Sub: Physical wiring configuration
Tariff: Rate code (e.g., T11, T31, T33)
The legacy draft includes tariff examples. Use the tariff recorded for the actual connection, electricity account or network job. Do not infer it from an example.
Residential Commercial
T11: General domestic supply (single rate)
T31: Off-peak hot water heating
T33: Controlled load (pool pumps, storage heating)
Meter Reading: Record the current reading for billing continuity and consumption tracking.
Accurate load assessment ensures grid stability and compliance with network capacity:
Estimated Increase in Load (A/ph): Calculate the additional electrical load in Amps per phase from new installations.
Include all new appliances, lighting, and equipment in your load calculation.
Is increased load within capacity? Evaluate whether existing electrical service can handle additional load:
Yes: Current installation/service capacity is adequate
No: Service upgrade or load management may be required
If the load is not within capacity, pause and check the job, network and authority requirements before submitting in eCert.
Is work connected to supply? Indicate current energisation status:
Yes: New work is connected and operational
No: Work awaits network operator inspection/connection
