ACMA
Record pre-existing cabling issues, priority levels, and customer advice in an download-ready ACMA TCA2 PDF.
Open this formThe TCA2 is ACMA advice for non-compliant cabling you notice outside the work you were engaged to do. Use it to show the issue and how urgently the customer or building manager should address it.
Open the TCA2 form when you have identified the outstanding matters.
Select when this advice applies. Use the timing that matches when you noticed the outstanding matter.
Choose Pre works advice or Post works advice before download.
Use TCA2 to record outstanding cabling matters outside your contracted work, not to certify work you completed (that is TCA1).
Tick each row that applies, then choose a priority for that row. Leave rows blank when they do not apply to this site.
The form mirrors the official table:
For each selected row, pick one priority:
The official TCA2 is a one-page checklist. It has no free-text field for location or explanation. Keep separate job notes or photos when they are needed to show exactly what you found.
Give the completed PDF to the customer or building manager. ACMA says you are not required to keep a TCA2 copy, though your business or job process may still require one.
Complete a TCA1 or another compliant certification statement when you also performed or supervised completed cabling work.
For examples of when to use each row, read ACMA TCA2 outstanding matters.
Tradie Forms is not affiliated with the ACMA. Check the current ACMA cabling advice requirements.
